Oživení výuky

V prvním čtvrtletí školního roku 2019/ 20 nám zpříjemnila výuku angličtiny a výtvarné výchovy španělská dobrovolnice z Klubíčka z.s. Amets Vuela. Zaujala nadšením, přístupem k výuce, kulturním přehledem, originálním pohledem na svět, zkušenostmi, komunikačními dovednostmi. Jsme moc rádi, že se naše cesty sešly, mohli jsme prožít její prezentace, společné diskuze, živou konverzaci.  I na těchto setkáních stavíme jazykovou vybavenost našich studentů. Děkujeme, Amets, a přejeme vše dobré.

A co nám Amest napsala:

„I cooperated with Pedagogic High School during the 2019-2020 school year as an English conversation teacher assistant. I was teaching with the English department and the 3 lovely English teachers, Barbora, Monika and Petr.

It all started with a small presentation about Spain, the Basque Country where I come from and Erasmus+ project information for youngsters. Everyone welcomed me with a great smile and all their kindness, and it was so successful that once it was finished they contact me again to share it with other students. First of all with Barbora, and then with Monika’s students and finally with Petr, I even join them for a Tom Sawyer theatre in Brno!

We organized everything to be easy for me and for the school, and the most important thing: Useful for the students.  In order to increase their knowledge, I shared with them cultural awareness topics, trying to underline the main differences between Czech, Spanish and Basque cultures. Other times, instead, we just talked about universal topics, adjusting to their vocabulary learning process. Topics run from ecology and the mainstream Greta Thunberg,  to the moon-landing conspiracy. I always tried to talk to them in the most impartial way I could, trying always to share with them my point of view in comparison to other points of view.

I’m deeply thankful to Pedagogic School and the head master Ilona Helisová for being interested in cooperating with me, to the teacher Barbora Slaninová for managing all the lessons and meeting with me, to Monika and Petr for welcoming me in their class and to all the students for being an inspiration for my work. Thank you so much.“
